Lots of people set New Year resolutions. Lots of resolutions get left undone. This year, make a clear distinction between what’s a wish list for the new year and what are real, concrete goals you’ve set for yourself.
- Write down five specific goals for 2015. Use your favourite notebook, journal or app where you can easily come back to them on a regular basis.
- Prioritize these goals on your list.
- Set a realistic date for each goal.
In the next post, we’ll look at how to better understand these goals in order to achieve them.
“The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals.” – Melody Beattie
“What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.” – Henry David Thoreau
